Cracked Got It Right!

This will be a short diary, but I really think its important. Because today, an article on Cracked laid out the fallacies in political reporting.

Titled 5 Ways to Spot B.S. Political Story in 10 Seconds, this remarkably serious article should be required reading...For everyone. The article's author did such a fantastic job that I'll only quote a single portion. Everyone should check out the site to see the whole thing.

"Obama gaffe," "Romney gaffe," "Perry gaffe," "Biden gaffe" -- every party gets it equally. The word just means "embarrassing mistake," and I have literally never heard it used outside of the context of a meaningless, bull** filler political news story. I'm not normally an angry man, but it's such an obnoxious word that if somebody at work used "gaffe" in a sentence I would fling my goddamned coffee into his face.
The entire article is stunning in how it exposes these sorts of things. It is a must-read for everyone who gets involved in the political issues of the day.

I have no idea how to write decent endings on diaries, so I'm just going to end it abruptly.
